CINEORA LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
Cineora is a private media-catalogue and access service available at cineora.tv. We do not sell personal information, build advertising profiles or intentionally collect personal photos. This policy explains the limited information needed to operate the service.
1. Information Cineora does not collect
- Cineora does not collect or store payment-card numbers, bank-account details or security codes.
- Cineora does not ask customers to upload personal photographs or copy personal photo libraries.
- Cineora does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
2. Minimum information needed
To make Cineora work, we process only necessary service information: account identity and email, membership status, profile preferences, favourites, viewing progress and basic security or error records. This information is used only to provide access, remember your settings, protect the service and assist you when you request support.
3. Google user data
Cineora uses the authorised administrator's Google Drive connection to catalogue the selected movie and television folder. A customer uses their own Google account when accessing an approved shared library through a compatible player. Google identity and access information is used only to provide and control the service and is not sold or used for advertising.
4. Payments through SumUp
All payment details are entered directly into SumUp and processed by SumUp under its own privacy policy. Cineora never receives or stores your complete card or bank details. Cineora receives only the limited payment confirmation needed to activate or renew access, such as payment status, amount, date and transaction reference.
5. Infuse and Apple devices
Cineora members currently use Infuse for the recommended full playback experience on supported Apple devices. Infuse is an independent application made by Firecore and is not owned, operated or controlled by Cineora. When you download, purchase or use Infuse, Firecore and Apple may process information under their own privacy policies and account settings. Cineora does not receive your Apple payment details, Infuse purchase history or activity that takes place solely inside the Infuse application.
6. Service emails and other providers
Cineora uses a transactional-email provider to deliver essential account, payment and setup messages. The provider receives the destination email address and the contents and delivery status of the service message. Cineora does not use these transactional messages for unrelated advertising.
Cineora may also use Google for account and Drive connections, SumUp for payments, TMDB and OMDb for movie and television information, OpenSubtitles for subtitle searches, and its website host to deliver the service securely. These providers process information for their own part of the service under their respective privacy terms.
7. Cookies and sessions
Cineora uses essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, protect accounts, remember profiles and save service preferences. These are necessary for the website to work.
8. Watching-now country indicator
While an active paying member is playing a title, Cineora may use the country code supplied by its website host to show an approximate, aggregated watching-now flag and count. Cineora does not store the member's IP address or precise location for this feature. Complimentary family and administrator viewing is not counted, and a VPN may change the country shown. The short-lived country record is removed when playback stops or expires automatically shortly afterwards.
9. Retention and security
Information is kept only for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal or accounting duties. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
11. Children
Cineora is not intended for children to register independently. A Kids profile is a viewing preference inside an account and does not create a separate child account.
12. Contact and customer service
